Is Core Peptides Legit? What Their Public Documentation Shows

You typed “is Core Peptides legit” into a search bar because you’re about to spend real money on vials that will feed a real experiment, and the site looks fine, and the reviews look fine, and something still nags at you. I get it, because every peptide storefront looks fine, and the ones that shipped fake product last year looked fine too, so “fine” turns out to be a pretty weak signal.

What I can’t do is answer the question for you, because “legit” means different things to different labs. For one person it means the package arrives. For another it means the vial contains what the label says at the purity the label claims, and there’s a certificate from a named lab that proves it for that specific lot. Those are very different bars, and only you know which one you need to clear.

What I can do is walk through what Core Peptides publicly states on its own site, page by page, quote it, date it, and mark where the documentation stops. We’re Blank Peptides, a competitor, so I’ll show you our own documentation against the same yardstick and you can judge whether the standard I’m using is fair.

What does a legitimate peptide supplier actually document?

Before I open Core Peptides’ site, here’s the checklist I’d hold any supplier to, ours included. Five questions, each with an answer you can find or fail to find on the site itself.

One, provenance. Does the company synthesize the material or resell it? Look at the verbs on the About page. “We synthesize”, “our lab”, “our QC” describe a manufacturer. “We source”, “we supply”, “our partner labs” describe a distributor. A distributor can be perfectly reliable, but it can only vouch for what it was told, while a manufacturer can describe the lot’s whole history.

Two, is the testing lab named? “Third-party tested” is a phrase, and phrases are free. A lab name is checkable. You can search it, confirm it’s an analytical business that handles peptides, and, if you want certainty, send your own sample there.

Three, what does the test panel cover? HPLC purity is the headline number, and it’s meaningful, but it only tells you how much of the sample is one compound. Mass spectrometry confirms that compound is the right sequence. Bacterial endotoxin and sterility tell you whether the vial is safe to put anywhere near cells. Purity alone answers one question of four.

Four, can you see a batch COA before buying, and does it carry a lot number that also appears on the vial? Without the lot match, the certificate could belong to any batch ever made.

Five, for blends, does the page state the milligrams of each component? A total figure with no split can’t be reproduced.

I’m not scoring on company age, because a claimed founding date is unverifiable and says nothing about the lot you’ll receive. And I’m not scoring on reviews, because reviews are the easiest thing on a website to manufacture.

How Blank Peptides makes and tests each lot

Blank Peptides operates its own cGMP laboratory in the USA and keeps the whole process in-house: compounding, vialing, finishing, labelling, and quality control. No step is outsourced to an unnamed facility, so the chain of custody for each lot is a single record from raw material to shipped box. The company also contract-manufactures and fulfils for other peptide brands under the same system.

Each lot is run through a full panel rather than a purity check alone. Identity is confirmed, purity is reported at >99%, and the lot is tested for bacterial endotoxin and sterility. Two named outside laboratories, Freedom Diagnostics and Horizon Analytical, perform the testing, so a buyer can verify the lab as well as the result.

The company publishes batch certificates of analysis for each lot before purchase, and the lot number on the certificate is the same one printed on every vial. Lyophilized product carries an expiration of roughly 24 months.

The range is 34 compounds, and every blend states its composition per component: GLOW is 70mg of GHK-Cu, BPC-157, and TB-500; KLOW is 80mg and adds KPV; Wolverine is 20mg of BPC-157 and TB-500. Processing time is within 1 business day, orders ship at room temperature, which is standard for lyophilized peptides, and the company has been in business for five years.

What Core Peptides publicly states

Core Peptides trades at corepeptides.com. On the pages reviewed 2026-09-08, the homepage states the company has been “Serving the research community for over 7 years, and 3rd party tested”, sells “U.S. lab-tested peptides” that are “independently verified for purity”, and displays “3rd PARTY TESTED” and “US LAB TESTED” badges. The About page states “All our products are synthesized and lyophilized in the United States”, that “Our peptides are manufactured locally against the highest standards for synthesis, undergoing rigorous quality control measures”, and that products reach “purity levels exceeding 99%+”. The company describes itself as “a chemical supplier” and “not a compounding pharmacy”.

Take those in rubric order. On provenance, the verbs are “synthesized” and “manufactured locally”, which is manufacturer language, but a facility, a named manufacturer, or a description of what the “quality control measures” consist of was not listed on the pages reviewed 2026-09-08. On the lab, the homepage and About page use “3rd party tested” without a name. The one place a name appears is a Certificate of Analysis PDF linked from the BPC-157 & TB-500 & GHK-Cu 70mg blend page. That PDF names “Vanguard Laboratory”, lists an HPLC-UV/VIS method, reports purity of “>99.50%”, records identity as “Pass – Matches Ref. Standard”, and carries lot C74111 dated 7/22/2026. Endotoxin and sterility results do not appear on it, and mass spectrometry is not listed as a method.

On COA access more broadly, the single-compound BPC-157 and TB-500 pages and the BPC-157 & TB-500 blend page each state “Purity: >99%” but did not show a certificate link on the pages reviewed 2026-09-08. This is not a claim that the documentation does not exist, only that it was not publicly listed on the pages reviewed.

On blends, the BPC-157 & TB-500 blend page states “Contents: BPC-157 5mg/10mg, TB-500 (thymosin beta 4) 5mg/10mg”, and the 70mg blend page states “BPC-157 (10mg) & TB-500 (10mg) & GHK-Cu (50mg)”. The KLOW 80mg page lists BPC-157, KPV, TB-500, and GHK-Cu as components without per-component amounts, and several other blend pages in the category showed only a total.

Where Core Peptides is plainly stronger is range and logistics. The catalog page states “Showing all 104 results” plus 19 blends, about three times our range, and the shipping page states “same (business) day shipping for orders placed before 1pm PST Monday-Friday” and “Free Priority USPS shipping on orders over $200 within the US”, with refunds accepted “up to 30 days after an order is placed”. Those are concrete, buyer-friendly terms.

How to verify either supplier yourself

  • Open the product page for the exact compound you’d buy and look for a COA link there. Write down the lot number on the certificate and compare it to the vial label after delivery; if they don’t match, or the vial has no lot, email support before you use it.
  • Read the method lines on the certificate. HPLC gives purity, and you also want a mass spectrometry line for identity and separate lines for bacterial endotoxin and sterility. Where a line is missing, ask whether that result exists for the lot.
  • Search the lab named on the certificate and confirm it’s an operating analytical business with an address and a services list. If nothing comes up, ask the vendor for the lab’s contact details and call them.
  • For any blend, get the per-component milligrams in writing before ordering if the page shows only a total.
