Whatever brought you here, the underlying problem is the same one every lab buyer runs into: the storefronts all look alike, and the words on them (“third-party tested”, “99% purity”, “made in the USA”) are free to type.

What should a replacement supplier be able to show you?

Before I name anyone, here’s the rubric. It’s five questions, and honestly the order matters, because the first one shapes how much weight the other four can carry.

First, provenance. Does the supplier synthesize the peptide, or does it buy finished or bulk material and put a label on it? Neither answer is automatically disqualifying, but a supplier that doesn’t make the product can only ever vouch for it second-hand. Look for verbs on the about page. “We manufacture” and “our facility” mean one thing; “we supply”, “we source” and “we offer” mean something else, and a site that avoids the subject entirely is telling you something too.

Second, is the testing lab named? “Third-party tested” without a name is unfalsifiable. A named lab means you can look that lab up, check that it actually runs the methods claimed, and in many cases contact it to confirm a report number is real.

Third, what’s on the panel? HPLC purity alone tells you the main peak is big. It doesn’t tell you the main peak is the right molecule (that’s mass spectrometry identity), it doesn’t tell you the vial is free of bacterial endotoxin, and it doesn’t tell you the lyophilized cake was filled aseptically (sterility). For a lyophilized research peptide the four together are the meaningful set.

Fourth, can you see the batch certificate before you buy, and is it tied to a lot number that also appears on the vial? A generic “sample COA” or a table of numbers with no document behind it counts as a placeholder for documentation, and you should treat it that way until a real certificate turns up.

Fifth, for blends, does the vendor disclose the milligrams of each component? A 70 mg vial “formulated with” three peptides could be almost any ratio. If you can’t reproduce the dose per component, you can’t reproduce the experiment.

One thing I deliberately leave off the list is how long the company or its domain has existed. Age tells you nothing about what’s in the vial.

How Blank Peptides makes and tests each lot

Reviewed against the five questions above, Blank Peptides publishes a fairly complete chain. The company operates its own cGMP laboratory in the USA and states that it compounds, vials, finishes, labels and runs QC on every lot in-house, which answers the provenance question directly: the product is synthesized by the company selling it, and the company also contract-manufactures and fulfils for other peptide brands, which it describes only as a category of work.

Testing is outsourced to two named laboratories, Freedom Diagnostics and Horizon Analytical, and each lot is run against a full panel: identity, purity at >99%, bacterial endotoxin and sterility. That covers all four of the tests a buyer should expect for a lyophilized product, and because the labs are named, the reports can be checked against the lab rather than taken on trust.

Certificates are published per lot as batch certificates of analysis, and every vial carries the lot number that ties it to its certificate. Lyophilized product is given an expiration of roughly 24 months.

On blends, the composition is disclosed per component: GLOW is a 70 mg vial of GHK-Cu, BPC-157 and TB-500; KLOW is an 80 mg vial that adds KPV; Wolverine is 20 mg of BPC-157 and TB-500. The catalog runs to 34 compounds. Orders are described as processing within one business day and ship at room temperature, which is appropriate for lyophilized material, so there’s no cold-chain claim to evaluate.

What Peptide Vault publicly states

A quick word on names first. Several sites use some form of “Peptide Vault”, including UK and Australian storefronts. The one reviewed here is peptidevaultlabs.com, which trades as Peptide Vault Labs and presents itself as a US supplier. Everything below refers to that site on the pages reviewed 2026-09-08.

On provenance, the homepage states products are “Made in the USA” and “Produced in a controlled U.S. facility under strict laboratory standards.” The about page states that “Peptide Vault Labs supplies research-grade peptides and laboratory materials to researchers, institutions, and analytical labs.” Whether the company synthesizes the peptides itself or sources them from a separate facility was not listed on the pages reviewed 2026-09-08; the verb used throughout is “supplies”.

On testing, the site states products are “Third-party batch tested” and refers to “independent laboratory testing” and “independent analytical documentation”. The COA library header states that “Every batch is third-party tested for identity, purity, and quantity by HPLC and mass spectrometry”, and a “≥99% Purity Standard” is repeated across the site. No testing laboratory was named on the homepage, quality page, FAQ, COA library or product pages reviewed 2026-09-08.

On certificates, the FAQ states that “Available Certificates of Analysis and batch documentation can be reviewed through our public COA library.” That library, on the date reviewed, showed 21 product rows with batch numbers, purity figures between roughly 99.08% and 99.62%, and an endotoxin column reading “None”. Sterility was not listed as a parameter. No downloadable PDF was found behind any row, and a notice at the foot of the page describes the batch numbers and results as “illustrative placeholders” to be replaced “with real Certificate of Analysis data and downloadable PDFs before launch”. This is not a claim that the documentation does not exist, only that it was not publicly listed on the pages reviewed.

On blends, the site lists four: KLOW (80 mg, $135), GLOW (listed at 80 mg on the shop grid and 70 mg on its product page, $95), CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin (10 mg) and BPC-157 + TB-500 (10 mg). The KLOW page states it is “formulated with BPC-157, TB-500, GHK-Cu, and KPV”; per-component milligrams were not listed on the pages reviewed 2026-09-08.

To be fair, Peptide Vault does some things well. Its pricing is fully public with tiered pack discounts (5% on five vials, 10% on ten), it advertises “Same-Day Fulfillment”, and it carries four blends where Blank Peptides carries three. If price-per-vial on multi-packs is your main constraint, that’s a genuine point in its favor.

How to verify either supplier yourself

  • Pull up a live batch certificate before you add anything to a cart. It should carry a lot number, a named laboratory, and results for identity, purity, endotoxin and sterility. If the page shows numbers with no document behind them, ask support for the PDF and note how long it takes to arrive.
  • Look up the named lab independently and confirm it runs HPLC and mass spectrometry on peptides. If no lab is named, email the vendor and ask for one; the answer, or the absence of one, is your data point.
  • For any blend, ask for the milligrams of each component and check that the numbers sum to the labelled vial total. A vendor that can’t answer that question can’t have a meaningful COA for the blend either.
