Here’s the frustration that probably sent you looking for a comparison in the first place. Both of these sites say the right words, both put a purity percentage somewhere prominent, and after twenty minutes of reading you still can’t tell whether either one has a document that describes the specific vial they’d mail you. The banners are interchangeable across this entire market, so they carry almost no information.

What does carry information sits deeper in the site, on pages nobody links from the hero image: the certificates index, the quality page, and the PDF itself if a PDF exists. I went through both companies on the same day with the same five questions and wrote down what each one said in its own words.

A note on where I’m standing. I write for a peptide manufacturer, and neither Peptide Vault nor Blue Sky Peptide is that manufacturer, so there’s nothing here for you to buy from me. Everything below was publicly readable on the pages I reviewed on 2026-09-08, and where a page left a question unanswered I’ve said that rather than inventing an answer that sounded plausible.

What can you actually check before you pay?

Here’s the rubric, set before either company is named so it can’t be bent toward whichever site turned out to be more pleasant to read.

Provenance comes first. Does the company state that it synthesizes the peptide, or does it describe supplying, producing, stocking, or making it available? Both describe real businesses, and a careful supplier can outperform a careless manufacturer on any given lot. But the two hold different records. When something behaves oddly months later, only the company that ran the synthesis can look up what happened during it.

Second, is the laboratory named? I weigh this above the purity number itself. A laboratory with a name can be looked up and phoned, and you can ask whether a report number is genuinely theirs. A phrase such as “independent labs” leaves the claim resting entirely on the company making it.

Third, how wide is the panel? Four assays answer four different questions. HPLC purity measures what fraction of the material is a single compound. Mass spectrometry confirms which compound. Bacterial endotoxin and sterility describe the finished vial rather than the powder, and those two are the pair that matters for cell-based work. One of four is the market norm.

Fourth, can you read a batch certificate before paying, and does the lot number on that document appear on the vial you receive? Those two conditions together are what make a certificate evidence about your material instead of a representative sample of the company’s testing programme.

Fifth, on blends, are the milligrams stated per component? The same blend name at two vendors can hide two very different ratios, and without the split you can’t calculate a working concentration. Company age and domain age stay off this list, because neither one tells you anything about a lot.

The standard used in this comparison

I’d rather name where the yardstick came from than pretend it appeared out of thin air. These five checks are the ones Blank Peptides publishes its own lots against: in-house cGMP synthesis, named testing laboratories, a per-lot panel covering identity, purity, bacterial endotoxin and sterility, batch certificates of analysis keyed to the lot number printed on every vial, and blend composition disclosed per component. Neither company below is that one, which is worth knowing before you read the rows.

What Peptide Vault publicly states

A clarification first, because search results confuse this one. Peptidevault.com resolved to a domain-for-sale page on 2026-09-08, and the site reviewed here is peptidevaultlabs.com, trading as Peptide Vault Labs.

On provenance, the homepage states products are “Made in the USA” and “Produced in a controlled U.S. facility under strict laboratory standards,” while the about page states the company “supplies research-grade peptides and laboratory materials to researchers, institutions, and analytical labs.” The verb that recurs is “supplies.” Whether the company owns that facility, or performs the synthesis within it, was not listed on the pages reviewed 2026-09-08. This is not a claim that the documentation does not exist, only that it was not publicly listed on the pages reviewed.

On testing, the site states “Third-Party Batch Tested” and refers to “independent analytical documentation.” The COA library header states that “Every batch is third-party tested for identity, purity, and quantity by HPLC and mass spectrometry,” and a “≥99% Purity Standard” appears across the site. Naming both assays by method is more than a lot of this market bothers with. No laboratory was named on any page I reviewed on 2026-09-08.

The batch index is the strongest thing on the site and the concession I’ll make plainly. It states: “Search published analytical records by product or batch number,” and rows carry batch identifiers in a PVL-prefixed format, purity figures running from roughly 99.08% to 99.62%, and an endotoxin column reading “None.” A searchable disclosure keyed to batch numbers, with an endotoxin result attached, is more than a large share of this market publishes at all. Sterility was not among the listed parameters, and I couldn’t find a downloadable certificate document behind any individual row, which is the gap between a published result and a laboratory’s signed report.

On blends, the site lists four: KLOW at 80 mg, GLOW, CJC-1295 with Ipamorelin at 10 mg, and BPC-157 with TB-500 at 10 mg. The KLOW page states it is “formulated with BPC-157, TB-500, GHK-Cu, and KPV,” and the GLOW page names BPC-157, TB-500 and GHK-Cu. Milligrams per component were not listed, and the GLOW total appeared as 80 mg on the shop grid against 70 mg on its own product page. The site advertises “Same-Day Fulfillment,” and the footer states products are “not intended for human or veterinary use.”

What Blue Sky Peptide publicly states

Blue Sky Peptide operates at blueskypeptide.com, which resolved normally on 2026-09-08.

On provenance, the homepage states “THIRD-PARTY TESTED – Every batch is tested by independent labs for quality and consistency,” carries a “99.95% PURITY Verified” banner, and lists categories for research peptides, research liquids, bulk peptides, bulk liquids, peptide blends, bundles and lab supplies. Product pages give the source line as “Chemical Synthesis,” and the company describes itself as providing research peptides to the laboratory research community. A statement that Blue Sky Peptide performs that synthesis itself, or a named manufacturing facility or partner, was not listed on the pages reviewed 2026-09-08. So the method of production is answered and the operator is left open, which is the same shape of gap Peptide Vault leaves with the word “supplies.”

On testing, product pages report a single combined figure rather than separate rows. The BPC-157 5mg page lists “Purity (Mass Spectrometry and UV)” at 99.79% and carries a third-party tested badge. That’s a method statement rather than a bare percentage, which counts for something, though a laboratory name was not listed on the product pages, homepage or certificates page reviewed 2026-09-08, and no certificate was linked from the product page itself. Bacterial endotoxin and sterility results were not listed on the pages reviewed.

The certificates page is where I’ll concede without argument. It is headed “62+ COA: HPLC/MS ID + Purity PDFs Available,” displayed “Showing 1-21 of 62 results” on the review date, and every entry carried a downloadable PDF link that opens without an account, a request, or a purchase. Ungated access to sixty-plus actual documents puts the company ahead of most of this market, and it’s a meaningfully different offer from a summary index, because a PDF names its issuer and can be taken to that issuer for confirmation. The honest limit alongside that: lot or batch numbers were not visible in the index listing on 2026-09-08, so tying a specific document to a specific vial is a step you’d need to confirm with the company.

Blends are the second place Blue Sky Peptide does something I’d like to see more often, because the split goes into the product title. Listings include “Blend GHK-Cu / BPC-157 Blend 50mg/10mg” and “Blend BPC 157 2mg with Thymosin Beta 4 TB500 2mg,” so composition is readable from the category page before you open anything. The homepage also states free shipping on orders over $75 and that orders placed by 12PM EST ship the same day, and the site states “Our products are intended for laboratory research only. They are not for human consumption.”

How to verify either supplier yourself

  • Download one of Blue Sky Peptide’s certificate PDFs and read the header before the number. The issuing laboratory, the lot identifier and the test date are the three fields that decide whether a document describes your vial or somebody else’s.
  • Ask Peptide Vault for the signed laboratory report behind a batch row rather than accepting the row. A published figure and a laboratory’s own document are different objects, and only the second names an issuer you can contact.
  • Ask both companies in writing which laboratory performed the testing, and who performs the synthesis. Neither site answers the second question, and a straight reply tells you something either way.
  • Ask about sterility specifically, since neither company published a sterility result on the pages reviewed 2026-09-08, and ask whether any endotoxin figure applies to the exact lot you’d receive.
  • Run both through the supplier verification checklist so the same rows get filled in for each company rather than whichever rows each site makes convenient.

Do either of them publish a sterility result?

Neither did on the pages reviewed 2026-09-08. Peptide Vault’s index carries an endotoxin column reading “None,” which covers one of that pair. Blue Sky Peptide listed neither endotoxin nor sterility on the pages reviewed. That’s a limit on what was publicly readable that day rather than a statement about what testing either company performs.
