How do you compare two vendors without taking either at its word?

Not listed on the Phoenix pages reviewed 2026-09-08: a third-party laboratory by name, the analytical method behind the purity figure, mass spectrometry identity confirmation, bacterial endotoxin or sterility results, and a certificate viewable before purchase. A heading reading “Our Lab Certification” appears on the about page with no certification detail beneath it in the version I loaded. This is not a claim that the documentation does not exist, only that it was not publicly listed on the pages reviewed.

Cosmic Peptides approaches documentation from the lot side. Its about page states “Every lot is tested, verified, and published with documentation specific to that lot,” states “Purity, sterility, and solvent testing are standard,” and states “99.0%+ purity guaranteed” with testing costs included. Research-use language is unambiguous: “For Research Use Only – Not for Human or Veterinary Use. All products sold by Cosmic Peptides are intended strictly for laboratory research and analytical purposes by qualified professionals.”

The certificate page carries a “Certificate of Analysis Database” with a searchable “Lot Number” field, which is the strongest thing on either side of this comparison and worth crediting properly. Building certificate access around lot lookup, rather than a flat PDF dump, is the right architecture, and it opened for me without a login. What that page listed as certificate contents was “HPLC purity, identity confirmation, and quantification results,” with bacterial endotoxin and sterility absent from that description even though the about page states sterility testing is standard. I couldn’t establish the total number of certificates, since the interface pages results through a “Load More Results” control. The catalog showed 33 products including blends such as GLOW and a BPC-157/TB-500 combination, and the per-component milligram split wasn’t visible in the catalog view I reviewed. Web checkout was also disabled on the catalog page at the time of my visit, which may simply be a temporary state.   • Ask each company for the certificate covering the exact lot they would ship you this week, in writing, and check whether the lot number on the PDF is the one they say will be printed on the vial.
  • Where a lot lookup exists, use it before ordering. Search a compound you’re interested in and read two or three different lots to see whether the panel stays consistent between batches.
  • Count the assays on the document rather than reading the marketing summary. Identity, purity, endotoxin and sterility are four distinct results and any of them can be quietly absent.
  • For blends, request the per-component milligram split in writing and confirm the certificate reports each component separately rather than as one combined figure.
