You searched a compound name, two sites came back, and both of them look like places you can buy it. One is a peptide storefront with a shop, a cart and product photographs. The other is a much larger catalogue with prices, coupon codes and testing badges on every listing. Somewhere in the fine print, those two things turn out to be quite different kinds of business, and the fine print is not where most people look before they order.

This comparison is published by a peptide manufacturer that is neither of these companies, which is the only useful position from which to write it, and I have nothing to sell you here. What I’ve done is open both sites and record what each states about who makes the material, who tests it, what tests are run, and what document you can read before paying. All observations come from pages reviewed 2026-09-08.

What should you compare when two sites sell the same compound?

Fix the criteria first, because criteria written after browsing will bend toward whatever you happened to notice. Five questions, all answerable from published material.

Provenance leads, and it decides how much the rest can mean. Does the company synthesise the peptide in a facility it operates, does it buy finished material and relabel it, or does it not handle product at all? Read the verbs on the about page rather than the adjectives on the homepage. “We synthesise” is one business. “We supply” is another. “We do not manufacture” is a third, and honestly that’s the most useful of the three, because it removes all ambiguity about who you should be asking for documentation.

Second, is the testing laboratory named? “Third-party tested” is a phrase with no follow-up path. A name gives you an organisation to look up, an accreditation to confirm, and a report format to compare against whatever PDF you’re handed.

Third, panel scope. HPLC purity says what fraction of the material is one compound. Mass spectrometry identity says that compound matches the label. Bacterial endotoxin and sterility say what else is in the vial, and purity will never tell you that. A single purity chromatogram answers one of four questions.

Fourth, timing. Can you open a lot-numbered certificate before you pay, and will that number appear on the vial? A testing badge on a product tile is a graphic, not a certificate, and the two are easy to confuse at a glance.

Fifth, blends. If a vial holds two peptides, are the milligrams of each stated for that specific product? A description of what sellers “commonly” do is market colour rather than a specification.

Company age and domain age are excluded on purpose. Neither tells you anything about the material.

Where this standard comes from

These five questions are the standard Blank Peptides publishes its own lots against, as batch certificates of analysis posted per lot. Naming that before applying the rubric to two other companies seems fair, since a measurement only means something if whoever brought the ruler accepts being measured too.

What Biotech Peptides and Pure Rawz publicly state

Biotech Peptides first. On provenance, the homepage states that “peptides are domestically synthesized, backed by our knowledgeable US-based team,” the about page states that its team “specializes in the precise synthesis and lyophilization of these delicate structures,” and product pages carry “Synthesized and Lyophilized in the USA.” No facility, city or state was named on the pages reviewed 2026-09-08.

On testing, the homepage states that “our production is verified by HPLC-MS to confirm >99% purity” and that “every batch is verified by a third-party lab, with results posted on our website.” No laboratory is named in that prose, though the certificate linked from the 70mg BPC-157, TB-500 and GHK-Cu blend page, lot 3141011, is issued by MZ Biolabs and reports HPLC-UV purity of 99.56% with mass spectrometry identity confirmation. Endotoxin and sterility were not listed on that certificate or on any page reviewed 2026-09-08. Certificate files are linked on product pages before purchase, including separate documents for the 5mg and 10mg BPC-157 vials dated 2026-07-21, and the 70mg blend page states a total without per-component milligrams. The shop reads “Showing 1–28 of 89 results,” split as 73 peptides and 16 blends, and shipping states a 1pm PST same-day cutoff with no returns and free replacement of lost or damaged parcels.

Pure Rawz operates at purerawz.co, and its about page answers the provenance question more directly than almost any site in this market. It states: “Purerawz is an informational and affiliate website. We do not sell or directly supply the products featured on this website.” It adds: “We do not manufacture, stock, package, ship, or fulfill orders for the products discussed on this website.” The terms and conditions page describes the company as “an independent informational and affiliate website” and states it is not responsible for product quality on the third-party sites it links to. Read plainly, those sentences tell you the documentation questions belong to whichever seller a listing sends you to.

On testing, the homepage states the compounds are “third-party tested, COA verified,” refers to “independent third-party lab-tested compounds,” and mentions “rigorous testing for purity, potency, and consistency.” Product titles in the shop carry “3rd Party Tested” and “COA Verified Research Peptide.” On the pages reviewed 2026-09-08 I could not find a laboratory named, a COA section in the menu or footer, a lot-tied certificate on any product page, or a statement listing HPLC, mass spectrometry, endotoxin or sterility as the methods used. The BPC-157 page carries no testing language at all and states that “BPC-157 products are not sold by Purerawz,” presenting “BUY HERE” buttons to seven other vendors, each with a coupon code. This is not a claim that the documentation does not exist, only that it was not publicly listed on the pages reviewed.

On blends, the BPC-157 and TB-500 “Wolverine Blend” page lists a price range of $39.99 to $195.00 and states that vendors “commonly package the blend at approximately 5 mg BPC-157 + 5 mg TB-500,” which describes what other sellers tend to do rather than specifying a particular vial. There’s also a tension between pages that I’ll report without trying to resolve: the shipping policy states “packages typically reach the courier within 5 – 12 business days,” names USPS, UPS and Globalpost, offers “Free Shipping for Orders over $100,” and refers to “our warehouse,” while the about page states the company does not ship or fulfil orders. Which of those describes a given order is a question for Pure Rawz, and I’d ask it before paying.

Each site has something the other doesn’t. Biotech Peptides links a dated, lot-numbered certificate you can read before ordering, which is the single most useful artefact any peptide vendor publishes. Pure Rawz offers breadth and price discovery on a scale no manufacturer matches: the shop page states 521 products across peptides, SARMs, nootropics and stacks, and product pages line several sellers up side by side with discount codes. If you’re surveying what a compound costs across the market, that’s a genuinely useful function, and it’s a different function from selling you a vial.

Read those columns as descriptions of two different jobs rather than as a scoreboard. Biotech Peptides is answering the questions a buyer asks a seller, with a certificate attached to a lot number. Pure Rawz has told you in writing that it isn’t the seller, so every documentation question on the list belongs to whichever vendor its “BUY HERE” button sends you to, and you’d run this same five-row check there. The catalogue row is where Pure Rawz is clearly ahead, and it would be dishonest to pretend that breadth isn’t useful.

How to verify either supplier yourself

  • Read the about page and the terms page before the product page. Whether a site sells, supplies or refers is stated there, and it determines who you should be asking for documentation.
  • Where a link sends you to another seller, start the five questions over on that seller’s site, because a testing badge on the referring page tells you nothing about the vial that ships.
  • Open a certificate before ordering and read the header rather than the purity number. You want the issuing lab, the lot number, the date, and a line for each method run.
  • Count the results: identity by MS, purity by HPLC, bacterial endotoxin, sterility. Fewer than four means the panel is partial, whatever the copy claims.
  • Run whichever party actually ships your order through the supplier verification checklist, and repeat it whenever the site changes.
