So what’s actually different, and is any of it a difference that matters for the vial on your bench?

If I told you our peptides were “better” you’d have no reason to believe me. If I show you which vendor names its lab, which one posts a certificate with endotoxin and sterility lines, and which one says on its own policies page where its material comes from, you can go confirm every item yourself, and you should.

Everything about Profound Science below comes from its own pages as reviewed on 2026-09-08, quoted where possible. Where something wasn’t on the pages I read, I’ll say so plainly, because a gap in documentation is a different thing from a gap in reality.

What separates a documented supplier from a marketed one?

Here’s the problem with the phrases every vendor uses. “Third-party tested” and “99% purity” are true of a supplier that sends every lot to a named lab for a four-part panel, and they’re equally true of a supplier that sent one sample to an unnamed lab two years ago and got a purity number back. The words don’t distinguish the two, so I stopped reading the words and started reading the documents.

Five questions do the work. First, provenance: does the vendor state that it synthesizes the peptide, or does it describe sourcing finished product from someone else? Both models exist and both can be run well, but the answer determines how much the vendor actually controls and how much it’s taking on trust from a supplier you’ll never see.

Second, is the lab named? A name lets you look the lab up, confirm it’s a real analytical business, and in some cases verify a certificate number directly. An unnamed lab is a claim you can’t test.

Third, what’s on the panel? HPLC purity measures how much of the sample elutes as the main peak. Mass spectrometry identity confirms that peak is the peptide on the label rather than something with a similar retention time. Bacterial endotoxin and sterility screen for contamination that chromatography can’t detect. A certificate reporting only HPLC has answered one of four questions, and honestly it’s the easiest of the four to pass.

Fourth, is there a batch COA you can open before you pay, and does it carry a lot number you can match to the vial? Certificates you can only request after purchase don’t help you choose, and certificates without lot linkage can’t be tied to what arrived.

Fifth, for blends, does the product page show the mg of each component? A 20mg blend of two peptides could be 10/10 or 15/5, and the split changes what any assay result means.

I’ll hold both vendors to those five and nothing else. Site design, social following and how long either company has existed don’t make the list, because none of them tell you what’s in the vial.

How Blank Peptides makes and tests each lot

Blank Peptides runs its own cGMP laboratory in the United States and performs synthesis, vialing, lyophilization, labeling and quality-control release in-house. The company frames this as owning the full chain of custody, in contrast to relabeling or brokering product made elsewhere. The same facility also contract-manufactures and fulfils for other research peptide brands, a line of business the company describes only in general terms.

Every lot is released against a four-part panel: identity by mass spectrometry, purity by HPLC at a >99% threshold, bacterial endotoxin, and sterility. The analytical work is done by two named independent laboratories, Freedom Diagnostics and Horizon Analytical, and the resulting reports are posted as batch certificates of analysis, where a buyer can open the document for any lot before ordering. Each vial carries the lot number that matches its certificate, and lyophilized product is dated for approximately 24 months from release.

The catalog holds 34 compounds, including three blends with composition itemised per component: GLOW at 70mg (GHK-Cu, BPC-157, TB-500), KLOW at 80mg (the same three plus KPV), and Wolverine at 20mg (BPC-157 and TB-500). Orders are processed within one business day and ship at room temperature, which suits lyophilized peptide. The company has been operating for five years and sells strictly for research use.

What Profound Science publicly states

Profound Science is a brand page and a storefront on two different domains. The profoundscience.com homepage describes the company as “A trusted source for research needs” for the “independent or lab-affiliated researcher” and sends buyers to profoundaminos.com through a “Shop Now” link. On the date reviewed, the brand page carried no product, testing or policy content of its own, so everything that follows comes from the storefront.

On provenance, the storefront’s policies page states: “All our products are sourced from reputable manufacturers with established safety and quality records.” That’s sourcing language, and it’s the only origin statement I found. No manufacturer, facility, or country of manufacture was listed on the pages reviewed 2026-09-08, and the storefront navigation didn’t link an about page.

On testing, the homepage states “HPLC TESTED”, “99%+ PURITY GUARANTEED” and “Batch COA Included”, and the policies page states that “Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for most products are available on our dedicated test results portal for your review and verification.” That portal is real and public. The test-results page lists PDF certificates by product and vial cap colour, for example “TB-500/BPC-157 20mg Purple Cap” and “GLOW 70mg Purple Cap”, with no account or purchase required. The site’s prose doesn’t name a lab, but the certificates do: the ones I opened were issued by TrustPointe Analytics, and the page also references Zyntro. The policies page separately lists labs whose results the company accepts for refund claims, including TrustPointe Analytics and MZ Biolabs.

On panel coverage, the TrustPointe certificate for the BPC-157/TB-500 10mg/10mg blend (sample SPL-3691, dated 2026-05-05) reports an HPLC assay per component, identity by retention time and spectral match, and a combined purity of 99.211%. It doesn’t list bacterial endotoxin or sterility, and I didn’t find those results on any certificate or page reviewed 2026-09-08. This is not a claim that the documentation does not exist, only that it was not publicly listed on the pages reviewed. The certificates are also indexed by cap colour and sample ID rather than by a lot number printed on the vial, so matching a document to a specific vial depends on the colour scheme staying stable.

On blends, Profound Science is more forthcoming than many vendors. The GLOW Protocol page states the 70mg vial contains 50mg GHK-Cu, 10mg TB-500 and 10mg BPC-157, with “Purity: ≥99% (HPLC Verified)”. That’s the per-component disclosure the fifth question asks for, and it deserves credit.

The genuine advantage Profound Science holds over us is breadth. The shop page showed 54 products across seven pages, including incretin-mimetic analogs, several capsule and tablet products, reconstitution solutions and vial storage cases. A 34-compound catalog doesn’t cover that ground. On logistics, the policies page states shipping by “UPS Ground unless otherwise requested” with weekday pickups “between 10am-2pm”, typical arrival “within 3 business days”, no returns on research products, and purity refunds only when “3rd party test results are presented showing that the product is either underweight or the purity is under 98%”.
