Here’s a pattern that shows up on both of these sites, and once you notice it you’ll see it everywhere. The marketing copy talks about testing in general terms and never names anyone, and then you open an actual certificate PDF and there’s a laboratory’s name printed on it. The page and the document are telling you different amounts, and the document is the one worth reading.

That’s what this comparison is built around: five questions applied identically to both companies, quotes where a page gave me something quotable, and a dated note where it didn’t. I’ll also name what each does better than the other, since a comparison that stacks all the merit on one side isn’t much use to anybody.

Where I’m standing, so you can weigh it: I write for a peptide manufacturer, neither company below is that manufacturer, and everything here was publicly readable on the pages I reviewed on 2026-09-08.

What can you check before you pay?

Here’s the rubric, set before either name appears so it can’t be bent to fit the site I found easier to read.

Provenance first. Does the company state that it synthesizes the peptide, or does it describe supplying, bottling, or making it available? Both are legitimate, and a diligent supplier can outperform a careless manufacturer. But only one of them holds synthesis records, so when a lot behaves strangely they can answer very different questions. Read the verbs on the about page literally.

Second, is the laboratory named? I’d put this above the purity figure. A named laboratory can be looked up and asked whether a report number is genuinely theirs, while an unnamed one leaves the testing claim resting on the company making it. The name sometimes appears on the certificate even when the copy stays quiet, which is why the documents deserve a look of their own.

Third, how wide is the panel? HPLC purity measures what fraction of the material is one compound. Mass spectrometry confirms which compound it is. Bacterial endotoxin and sterility describe the finished vial rather than the powder, and those two matter for anything cell-based. Publishing one of the four is normal. Publishing all four is rare.

Fourth, is a batch certificate readable before purchase, and does its lot number appear on the vial? Those conditions together are what make a document evidence about your material rather than a representative sample of the company’s work.

Fifth, on blends, are the milligrams stated per component? The same blend name at two vendors can conceal two different ratios, and without the split you can’t calculate a working concentration. Company age and domain age stay off the list, because neither describes a lot.

Where this standard comes from

Rather than presenting the yardstick as though it came from nowhere, I’ll name it. These five checks are the ones Blank Peptides publishes its own lots against: synthesis in an in-house cGMP laboratory, two named testing laboratories, a per-lot panel of identity, purity, bacterial endotoxin and sterility, batch certificates of analysis keyed to the lot number on every vial, and blend composition disclosed per component. Neither company in this comparison is that one, and knowing the origin of the bar lets you decide whether it’s set at a fair height.

What Pure Rawz publicly states

Pure Rawz trades at purerawz.co, and the site is unusually direct about what it is.

The about page states: “Purerawz is an informational and affiliate website. We do not sell or directly supply the products featured on this website,” followed by “We do not manufacture, stock, package, ship, or fulfill orders for the products discussed on this website.” It discloses that the company “may receive a commission” on qualifying purchases through its links. The terms page repeats it, stating that “Purerawz does not sell any of the products featured on this website.” So the provenance row is answered, and answered by the company placing itself outside the supply chain entirely, which pushes every manufacturing and testing question through to whichever seller a product link lands on.

On testing, the homepage carries a section headed “Independent Third-Party Testing for Purity and Transparency,” refers to “third-party lab-tested compounds,” states “testing for purity, potency, and consistency,” and notes that “Third-party testing is performed by an outside lab.” Product titles carry “3rd Party Tested” and “COA Verified Research Peptide.” No laboratory was named on the current pages reviewed 2026-09-08, and no page listed HPLC, mass spectrometry, endotoxin or sterility as the assays performed.

On certificate access, the site’s /certificate-of-analysis/ address returned a 404 on 2026-09-08, and no certificate link appeared in the navigation or footer of the homepage, about page, terms page or peptides category. Older certificate PDFs remain hosted on the domain by direct URL. One, for PT-141 lot PRWZ-083, is dated 2023-08-22, names MZ Biolabs at a Tucson, Arizona address, states the method as “Mass Spectrometry and UV,” and reports 99.5%, with no endotoxin or sterility rows. That’s the same pattern I opened with: the only lab name on this domain sits on a document rather than on a page. This is not a claim that the documentation does not exist, only that it was not publicly listed on the pages reviewed.

On blends, the BPC-157 and TB-500 “Wolverine Blend” page shows a price range of $39.99 to $195.00 and states that vendors “commonly package the blend at approximately 5 mg BPC-157 + 5 mg TB-500,” describing a market convention rather than the contents of a specific vial. Product pages carry “BUY HERE” buttons to outside sellers with coupon codes, and the BPC-157 page states those products “are not sold by Purerawz.”

The credit runs two ways here. That affiliate disclosure is candid in a way this sector rarely is, and it tells a reader exactly what the site is for. The breadth is real too: the shop page states 521 products across peptides, SARMs, nootropics and stacks, with 170 in peptides alone, alongside explainers including “How to Read a Peptide COA (Real vs Fake).” As a map of what exists and who sells it, that does a job.

What Umbrella Labs publicly states

Umbrella Labs operates at umbrellalabs.is, which resolved normally on 2026-09-08.

On provenance, the homepage states “USA MADE,” “≥99% PURITY” and “FREE SHIPPING,” and lists SARMs, peptides, nootropics, research chemicals, lab supplies, amino acids and probiotic strains among its categories. That “USA MADE” phrase is the extent of the manufacturing claim. A facility, a location, or a description of the synthesis process was not listed on the pages reviewed 2026-09-08, and the FAQ doesn’t address who makes the product.

On testing, the quality-assurance page is detailed about method and equipment. It states the company employs “High Performance Liquid Chromatography and Liquid/Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry,” that “routine analyses are conducted in a CLIA environment using a flexible range of Thermo Scientific and Agilent modalities,” and it lists instruments including a triple quadrupole GC-MS and a linear ion trap LC-MS. The page also states the company is “the only supplier of SARMs with third-party purity validation from analytical chemists credentialed by the National Certification Commission in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering,” and the FAQ states products “are tested in house and by 3rd parties for purity and generally average over 99% pure.” A laboratory name was not listed on the quality-assurance or FAQ pages reviewed 2026-09-08.

The certificates fill part of that gap, and they’re the strongest thing on the site. The PDFs linked from the BPC-157 page carry the name “Vanguard Laboratory” and a laboratory director’s name, so the issuer is identifiable from the document even where the copy stays quiet. The BPC-157 page states “≥99% Pure (LC-MS)” and links a 5mg certificate dated 2026-06-15, a 10mg certificate dated 2025-12-22, and an endotoxin report dated 2026-02-04. The 5mg certificate reports chromatographic purity by HPLC-UV/VIS of 98.22% for lot ULP-20409A, and the endotoxin report states “Pass – <5.00 EU/mg” by LAL for lot ULP-20409. An MS identity result and a sterility result were not listed on the documents I reviewed.

Catalog and blend disclosure are where I’ll concede outright. The peptides section listed 108 peptide vials, 20 vial blends and 23 liquid sprays alongside capsule, tablet and GLP subcategories, and blend titles carry the split in the name, as in “GLOW GHK-CU/TB-500/BPC-157 BLEND PEPTIDE (70MG/10MG/10MG) 90MG VIAL,” with that blend page linking its own certificate dated 2026-07-09. The site also states “free expedited shipping within the United States of America (USA) only,” a one-time replacement guarantee for lost or damaged shipments, and dispatch “within 24-48 hours of order receipt.”

How to verify either supplier yourself

  • Open the certificate rather than the badge. Both companies name a laboratory only on a document, so download the PDF, take the issuer’s name off it, and look that laboratory up on its own website.
  • Then phone or email that laboratory and ask whether the report number belongs to it. This is the single check that separates a real certificate from a designed one, and almost nobody does it.
  • Check the date on the newest document you can find, and ask each company for the certificate covering the lot they’d ship you this week. Umbrella Labs publishes lot identifiers, so that comparison is possible before ordering.
  • Work out who takes your money. Pure Rawz states it doesn’t fulfil orders, so the certificate governing your vial comes from whichever outside seller you check out with, and that’s who to ask.
  • Score both against the supplier verification checklist so the same rows get filled in for each.
