Both have a page that looks like a quality page. And you close the laptop with a vague preference for whichever one had the better typography, which is not a reason and you know it.

It’s picking five questions before you look at either site, then answering them in the same order for both companies and writing down which answers were actually on the page. Which five questions decide a documentation comparison?
Fixing the criteria before you name either company matters more than it sounds, because a rubric assembled after reading two sites quietly rewards whatever those two sites happen to be good at.
Provenance comes first. Does the company state that it synthesizes the material, or does it describe supplying, sourcing, bottling or fulfilling it? The verbs on an about page carry more information than any adjective near them. Distribution is a legitimate business and there are careful distributors, but a distributor’s certificate starts with an upstream party whose identity you may not have.
Second, is the testing laboratory named? This one is binary and takes about ten seconds to check. A named lab has an address, a phone number and staff who will tell you whether a report number belongs to them. An unnamed “accredited third-party lab” gives you nothing to call.
Third, how wide is the panel? HPLC purity tells you how much of the powder is a single compound. Mass spectrometry confirms that compound is the one printed on the label. Bacterial endotoxin and sterility describe the vial rather than the powder, and those two are the results most often missing from public pages. A supplier publishing purity alone has answered roughly a quarter of the question you asked.
Fourth, can you read a batch certificate before you pay, and does its lot number appear on the vial that arrives? Both halves together are what turn a PDF into evidence about your specific material rather than a general statement of intent.
Fifth, for blends, are the milligrams of each component stated? A total weight with an ingredient list describes something nobody can reproduce. Company age and domain age appear nowhere in this rubric, because neither one tells you anything about a specific lot.
Where this standard comes from
The five checks above have an origin and I’d rather name it than let it float. They’re the criteria Blank Peptides publishes its own lots against: synthesis in an in-house cGMP laboratory, testing laboratories named on the site, a per-lot panel covering identity, purity, bacterial endotoxin and sterility, batch certificates of analysis tied to the lot number printed on the vial, and blend composition disclosed per component. Neither company in this comparison is that manufacturer, and knowing where the bar came from lets you argue with its height.
What Sports Technology Labs publicly states
Sports Technology Labs operates at sportstechnologylabs.com, and on the named-laboratory question it’s one of the more forthcoming sites in this whole category.
On provenance, the about page describes a US-based operation and gives a headquarters address of “494 Bridgeport Avenue, Suite 101-222, Shelton, CT 06484.” The language across the pages I read stays on sourcing, testing and supplying. A statement that Sports Technology Labs performs the synthesis itself, or a named manufacturing partner, was not listed on the pages reviewed 2026-09-08. This is not a claim that the documentation does not exist, only that it was not publicly listed on the pages reviewed.
The laboratory question they answer clearly, and they answer it twice. The about page names MZ Biolabs of Tucson, Arizona, describing it as a “US DEA Schedule III licensed facility (License: RP0584676),” and names Colmaric Analyticals, LLC, crediting it with “over 15 years of scientific expertise.” Both High-Performance Liquid Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry are named, with HPLC described as the method for detecting impurities and MS as the method that confirms chemical identity. On purity the page states that “SARMs maintain a minimum 98% purity and peptides reach up to 99% purity.”
The certificate page is public and ungated. Headed “Certificates of Analysis,” it states that “as part of our continuous commitment to quality, we test every batch of our SARMs for a minimum of 98% purity. Below are our most recent third-party COAs (certificates of analysis) for each product.” On the date reviewed it carried 12 SARM entries and 20 peptide entries, each showing a product name, a test date and a purity figure, with dates running from 31 January 2025 through 10 June 2026. Lot or batch numbers were not among those fields, and no individual laboratory was attributed to individual entries on that page. Bacterial endotoxin and sterility results were not listed on the pages reviewed 2026-09-08, and a single-vial blend with a stated milligram split per component was not listed either.
The concession is the strongest row on their card and I’ll give it plainly. Naming two laboratories, one with a DEA license number a reader can look up independently, is more than most vendors in this market will do. The about page also states a 60-day money-back guarantee, flat $8 domestic shipping with free shipping above $149, same-day dispatch on most orders and typical US delivery in two to five business days.
What Peptide Vault publicly states
A clarification before anything else, because search results confuse this badly. Peptidevault.com resolved to a domain-for-sale page, and storefronts trading under similar names operate elsewhere. The site reviewed here is peptidevaultlabs.com, trading as Peptide Vault Labs.
On provenance, the homepage states products are “Manufactured in USA” and “Produced in a controlled U.S. facility under strict laboratory standards,” while the about page states the company “supplies research-grade peptides and laboratory materials to researchers, institutions, and analytical labs.” The recurring verb is supplies. Whether the company owns the facility described, or performs the synthesis inside it, was not listed on the pages reviewed 2026-09-08. So the country is answered and the operator isn’t, which is the same shape of gap Sports Technology Labs leaves, arrived at from a different direction.
On testing, the site states “Every batch third-party tested” and refers to independent laboratory testing and independent analytical documentation, with a “≥99% Purity Standard” repeated across the site. The certificate library header states that every batch is third-party tested for identity, purity and quantity by HPLC and mass spectrometry. Two assays are therefore stated by method, matching what Sports Technology Labs names. No laboratory was named on the homepage, quality page, FAQ, certificate library or product pages reviewed 2026-09-08.
The batch index is the strongest thing on the site and it earns the concession without qualification. Headed “Certificates of Analysis,” it invites you to search published analytical records by product or batch number, and states that multiple batch records sit grouped under one product.
