Which five questions decide a documentation comparison?

Fixing the criteria before naming either company matters, because a rubric built after reading two sites quietly rewards whatever those two sites already do well.

Provenance comes first. Does the company state that it synthesizes the material, or does it describe supplying, sourcing, curating or distributing it? The verbs on an about page carry more information than any adjective sitting beside them. Distribution is a legitimate business and there are careful distributors, but a distributor’s certificate begins with an upstream party whose identity you may not be given.

Second, is the testing laboratory named? Binary, quick, and more revealing than almost anything else on a site. A named lab has an address, a phone number and staff who will confirm whether a report number belongs to them. An unnamed “independent third-party laboratory” is a phrase with nothing behind it that you can dial.

Third, how wide is the panel? HPLC purity measures how much of the powder is a single compound. Mass spectrometry confirms that compound is the one on the label. Bacterial endotoxin and sterility describe the finished vial rather than the powder, and those two are the results most often missing from public pages. A supplier publishing purity alone has answered about a quarter of what you’re actually asking.

Fourth, can you read a batch certificate before you pay, and does its lot number appear on the vial that arrives? Both conditions together are what turn a document into evidence about your specific material.

Fifth, for blends, are the milligrams of each component stated? A total weight with an ingredient list underneath describes something nobody can reproduce or calculate against. Company age and domain age appear nowhere in this rubric, because neither says anything about a specific lot.

Where this standard comes from

These five checks came from somewhere and I’d rather say where. They’re the criteria Blank Peptides publishes its own lots against: synthesis in an in-house cGMP laboratory, testing laboratories named on the site, a per-lot panel covering identity, purity, bacterial endotoxin and sterility, batch certificates of analysis tied to the lot number printed on the vial, and blend composition disclosed per component. Neither company in this comparison is that manufacturer, and knowing where the bar came from lets you disagree with its height.

What Sports Technology Labs publicly states

Sports Technology Labs operates at sportstechnologylabs.com, and on the laboratory question it’s among the most forthcoming sites in this market.

On provenance, the about page describes a US-based operation and gives a headquarters address of “494 Bridgeport Avenue, Suite 101-222, Shelton, CT 06484.” Across the pages I read, the verbs stay on sourcing, testing and supplying. A statement that Sports Technology Labs performs the synthesis itself, or a named manufacturing partner, was not listed on the pages reviewed 2026-09-08. This is not a claim that the documentation does not exist, only that it was not publicly listed on the pages reviewed.

Testing is where the site gets specific, and it names two laboratories rather than one. The about page names MZ Biolabs of Tucson, Arizona, describing it as a “US DEA Schedule III licensed facility (License: RP0584676),” and names Colmaric Analyticals, LLC, crediting it with “over 15 years of scientific expertise.” High-Performance Liquid Chromatography is named as the method for detecting impurities, and Mass Spectrometry as the method that confirms chemical identity. On purity, the page states “SARMs maintain a minimum 98% purity and peptides reach up to 99% purity.”

Certificates live on a public page headed “Certificates of Analysis,” which states that “as part of our continuous commitment to quality, we test every batch of our SARMs for a minimum of 98% purity. Below are our most recent third-party COAs (certificates of analysis) for each product.” On the review date it listed 12 SARM entries and 20 peptide entries, each with a product name, a test date and a purity figure, spanning 31 January 2025 to 10 June 2026. Lot or batch numbers weren’t among the fields, and individual entries weren’t attributed to either named laboratory. Bacterial endotoxin and sterility results were not listed on the pages reviewed, and a single-vial blend with a per-component milligram split wasn’t listed either.

The concession is their strongest row and it’s a real one. Naming two laboratories, one with a DEA license number a reader can look up without permission from anybody, is more than most vendors here will do. The about page also states a 60-day money-back guarantee, flat $8 domestic shipping with free shipping above $149, same-day dispatch on most orders and typical US delivery in two to five business days.

What Polaris Peptides publicly states

Polaris Peptides trades at polarispeptides.org, and its documentation profile is close to the inverse of the one above: thinner on who it is, better on what’s in the vial.

On provenance, a statement about who synthesizes the peptides was not listed on the pages reviewed 2026-09-08. The site doesn’t describe a facility it operates, and it doesn’t describe suppliers or partners either, so this row sits unanswered rather than answered in one direction. Sports Technology Labs at least gives you a corporate address to start from, which is a small advantage worth noting.

On testing, the homepage states that “every compound in our catalog is independently tested to 99%+ purity” and that “every batch is sent to an independent third-party laboratory for HPLC analysis.” That’s a clear commitment on one assay, tied to a stated point in the process, which is more specific than a generic testing claim. The laboratory’s name was not listed on the pages reviewed, and mass spectrometry, bacterial endotoxin and sterility results were not listed either. So identity confirmation and contamination testing both remain open, and on method breadth Sports Technology Labs states more.

On certificate access, the site states “Independent lab results published on every product page. Check the data before you order, no request needed.” That’s a strong claim and one worth testing yourself, because on the BPC-157 product page I reviewed on 2026-09-08, no certificate, lab result or lot number was visible alongside the price and size options. A certificate library at a dedicated address also did not resolve during the review. I’d read the homepage statement as a promise to check against the specific product you want rather than a settled row, since a page that didn’t load is a limit on my reading rather than evidence about their records.

On blends, Polaris Peptides does well, and this is the concession I’ll make without qualification. The shop lists GLOW 50 as “GHK-Cu 35mg, TB-500 10mg, BPC-157 5mg,” KLOW as “GHK-Cu 50mg, KPV 10mg, TB-500 10mg, BPC-157 10mg,” and a third blend as “TB-500 10mg / BPC-157 10mg.” Every component carries a number, which is more than most of this market publishes, and it means a researcher can calculate a working concentration from the listing alone. The catalog itself is small, at roughly 11 listings on the review date, with categories spanning BPC-157, TB-500, NAD+, GLP-1 analogues and research blends.   • Ask both companies for the certificate covering the exact lot they’d ship you this week. That question separates a testing programme from a testing claim faster than any amount of reading.
  • With Sports Technology Labs, use the fact that the labs are named. Contact MZ Biolabs or Colmaric Analyticals and ask whether a given report number is genuinely theirs.
  • With Polaris Peptides, open the product page for the compound you actually want and check whether a lab result is attached, since the homepage states results appear on every product page and the one I opened showed none.
  • Match whatever lot number you’re given against the number printed on the vial when it arrives, and ask both companies about mass spectrometry, bacterial endotoxin and sterility by name.
