Which five checks settle a comparison like this?

Here’s the rubric, set before either name appears so it can’t be adjusted to suit whichever site read better.

Provenance is the first question. Does the company state that it synthesizes the peptide, or does it describe supplying, producing, or making it available? Both are legitimate, and a diligent supplier can beat a careless manufacturer. The difference lies in the records each holds, since only one can look up what happened during synthesis when a lot behaves unexpectedly. Read the verbs on the about page literally.

Second, is the laboratory named? I’d rank this above the purity figure itself. A laboratory with a name can be looked up and asked whether a report number belongs to it. Sometimes the name is absent from the marketing copy but present on the certificate, which is a good reason to open a document rather than trust a badge.

Third, how wide is the panel? HPLC purity measures what fraction of the material is one compound. Mass spectrometry confirms which compound it is. Bacterial endotoxin and sterility describe the finished vial rather than the powder, and those two matter for cell-based work. One assay of four is common. Three or four of four is uncommon enough to be worth noticing.

Fourth, can you open a batch certificate before you pay, and does its lot number appear on the vial? Those two conditions together turn a document into evidence about your material rather than a representative sample of the company’s work.

Fifth, on blends, are the milligrams stated per component? Identical blend names at two vendors can hide different ratios, and without the split you can’t calculate a working concentration. Company age and domain age stay off the list, because neither describes a lot.

What Pure Rawz publicly states

Pure Rawz trades at purerawz.co, and its account of its own role is the clearest thing on the site.

The about page states: “Purerawz is an informational and affiliate website. On testing, the homepage carries a section headed “Independent Third-Party Testing for Purity and Transparency,” refers to “third-party lab-tested compounds,” states “testing for purity, potency, and consistency,” and notes that “Third-party testing is performed by an outside lab.” Product titles carry “3rd Party Tested” and “COA Verified Research Peptide.” No laboratory was named on the current pages reviewed 2026-09-08, and no page listed HPLC, mass spectrometry, endotoxin or sterility as the assays performed.

On blends, the BPC-157 and TB-500 “Wolverine Blend” page shows a price range of $39.99 to $195.00 and states that vendors “commonly package the blend at approximately 5 mg BPC-157 + 5 mg TB-500,” describing a market convention rather than the contents of any specific vial. Product pages carry “BUY HERE” buttons to outside sellers with coupon codes, and the BPC-157 page states those products “are not sold by Purerawz.”

Credit where it’s earned, in two places. That affiliate disclosure is candid in a market where the line between reviewing and selling is often left soft, and it tells a reader exactly what the site is for. And the breadth is genuine: the shop page states 521 products across peptides, SARMs, nootropics and stacks, with 170 in peptides alone, alongside explainers including “How to Read a Peptide COA (Real vs Fake).”

What Ascend Bio Labs publicly states

Ascend Bio Labs trades at ascendbiolabs.com, and its documentation is unusually specific about testing, which also makes the remaining gaps easier to see.

On provenance, the site states products are “Synthesized, tested, and shipped entirely from the United States,” and the shop header states “Research-grade peptides. Third-party tested. Batch-level certificates of analysis. USA-made.” A statement naming the entity that performs the synthesis, or describing a facility the company operates, was not listed on the pages reviewed 2026-09-08. So the country is answered and the operator is not, which is a different shape of gap from the one on the Pure Rawz pages, where the company rules itself out explicitly.

On testing, this is the strongest part of the site. It states “Third-party HPLC + LC-MS, endotoxin, and heavy metal testing on every batch,” and clarifies the roles as “HPLC for purity, LC-MS for identity.” Purity is stated as a “99%+ minimum purity standard,” with “99.3% Avg. verified purity” quoted as an aggregate figure. On catalog and blends, the shop listed roughly 42 products on 2026-09-08, though the homepage stated both “38+ compounds in catalog” and “27+ compounds in catalog” in different places, which I’d note as an inconsistency and nothing more than that. How to verify either supplier yourself

  • Open a product page on the Ascend Bio Labs site for the compound you want and check whether a certificate is actually attached, since the site states it’s uploaded before the lot ships and a separate index page didn’t resolve during the review.
  • Take the issuing laboratory’s name off whichever document you can open, look that laboratory up on its own site, and ask whether the report number belongs to it. Both companies leave the name to the document rather than the copy.
  • Settle who takes your money. Pure Rawz states it doesn’t fulfil orders, so the certificate covering your vial comes from whichever outside seller you check out with, and that’s who to ask.
