How do you tell whether a peptide vendor manufactures or resells?

Before naming anyone, let’s set out the rubric, because the manufacturing question is really the first of five linked questions, and it’s hard to answer on its own.

That testing runs through two named outside laboratories, Freedom Diagnostics and Horizon Analytical, rather than only on the company’s own instruments. The results for every lot are published as batch certificates of analysis, and every vial carries the lot number that connects it to its certificate, so a buyer can read the paperwork before ordering and confirm it on arrival. Lyophilised product carries an expiration of roughly 24 months.

What Blue Sky Peptide publicly states

This section is a close reading of the ownership language on Blue Sky Peptide’s site as it appeared on the pages reviewed 2026-09-08. I’m going to quote rather than paraphrase, and I’m going to describe the verbs rather than tell you what they mean, because the whole point is that you should be able to check this yourself.

The About page states: “Blue Sky Peptide has been providing research peptides to the laboratory research community since 2013.” A little further down it states: “We sell research peptides made in the USA.” The verbs there are “providing” and “sell.” The phrase “made in the USA” is in the passive voice; it tells you a location and doesn’t name a maker. The same page states that “every batch we sell is documented with a Certificate of Analysis,” which again uses “sell” as the operative verb.

On product pages, the specification table for BPC-157 5 mg lists “Chemical Synthesis” as the source and the meta description describes the product as “US-made.” The GLOW blend page states the product is “US-made, trusted by researchers for over a decade” and also lists “Chemical Synthesis.” Chemical synthesis is a method, and it’s the method essentially every research peptide is made by; it doesn’t identify a facility or an operator.

The Terms and Conditions page states: “The purchaser agrees that the products have not been sterilized or tested by Blueskypeptide.com for safety and efficacy in food, drug, medical device, cosmetic, commercial or any other use.” That’s common research-use boilerplate, and I wouldn’t read anything sinister into it, but note the framing: it describes testing as something Blueskypeptide.com does not do for those purposes, which is consistent with a company whose analytical work is performed elsewhere.

And it is performed elsewhere, in a way you can check. The homepage states “THIRD-PARTY TESTED: Every batch is tested by independent labs for quality and consistency.” The site’s public COA library, headed “62+ COA: HPLC/MS ID + Purity PDFs Available,” lets you download certificates without buying anything, and that’s a real advantage I’ll happily concede; plenty of vendors make you purchase before you see a page of it. The two certificates we opened are issued by MZ Biolabs, list “Blue Sky Peptide” as the client, and carry lot numbers, analysis dates and an HPLC-UV-MS method. So the site does establish, through its own documents, who tests the material. It does not, on any page we read, establish who synthesises it. The words “manufacture,” “manufacturer,” “our lab,” “our facility” and “synthesise” in the first person were not listed on the pages reviewed 2026-09-08. Endotoxin and sterility results were not listed on the certificates or pages reviewed 2026-09-08 either.

None of that lets you conclude that Blue Sky Peptide is or isn’t a manufacturer, and I’m deliberately not concluding it. What you can say is that the site describes selling, providing and third-party testing, and stays silent on synthesis ownership. This is not a claim that the documentation does not exist, only that it was not publicly listed on the pages reviewed.
